1.) What can I expect from this venue?

ANSWER: Hamburg's Haunted Hayride consists of a 25-minute hayride complete with live actors, mechanical scares, and hauntingly scary lighting affects. Each wagon consists of custom-made benches that can accommodate a maximum of approximately 40 to 50 individuals and is pulled by an authentic farm tractor.

2.) What age is too young for this venue?

ANSWER: Only you know your child and his/her ability to be able to be the vicim of scaring! We recommend this venue for those over 7 years of age.

3.) Are you open during bad weather (rain)?

ANSWER: For the safety of our guests and staff, we will NOT operate in poor weather. It stinks being cold and wet, and our farm really takes a beating! So, if it's raining in Hamburg, we're closed!

4.) How safe is your venue?

ANSWER: Under Federal and State regulations, all buildings and equipment are required to be inspected before the public is allowed to enter. Also, all buildings are fireproofed with the latest materials used in Hollywood movies. Emergency exits are not only provided, but they are also clearly marked, as required by our State Inspector. This provides added protection to all of our guests and staff. YOUR safety is the first and foremost priority.

5.) Where can I get tickets?

ANSWER: You may ONLY purchase tickets "at the door". Look for our orange "Pumpkin Shack" to purchase your tickets. CASH ONLY - we have no way of accepting credit/debit cards. Also, we no longer sell tickets at TOPS or Wegman's, due to excessive fees. This helps keep YOUR costs down!

6.) Can I take any pictures?

ANSWER: No - because our venue is after dark, a person's eyes must adjust to darkness. Bright lights of any kind are strictly prohibited and any equipment used in creating bright lights may become property of Hamburg's Haunted Hayride. Guests who bring anything to interfere with our staff's ability to entertain may be escorted from the venue with no refund.

7.) Exactly WHERE are you located?

ANSWER: We are located on McKinley Parkway in Hamburg, NY, between Clark Street and Quinby Drive **ACROSS** from Gate 1 of the Erie County Fairgrounds, on the Eastern Side of McKinley.

NOTE: THIS IS **NOT** A VENUE LOCATED ON THE FAIRGROUNDS PROPERTY.

8.) Do I have to pay to park?

ANSWER: No - Parking is FREE!

9.) Are there discounts for large groups?

ANSWER: Yes - groups of 30 guests or more should contact us by calling: (716) 649-6221.

10.) Is your venue handicap-accessible?

ANSWER: Yes - Our ramps to our haunted hayride are wide enough to handle regular wheelchairs and others with special needs. The Barns of Doom are *not* 100% handicap-accessible.

11.) If I scream for too long, can I buy something to drink?

ANSWER: Yes - we have a full concession area complete with hot or cold beverages and a wide variety of food.
